The Rock Stars of the Alternative News Media by Kevin Dunn
Written and posted on February 11, 2012

It seems that there is no end to the material that "alternative news media" personalities provide for someone like me to comment about. My last 2 articles were prompted by a major figure in the "alternative media" and this article is no exception. However, this article is not specific to any one person. In this case, this article concerns several of the well known "alternative news media rock stars". If I used names, most people reading this article would know them instantly.

Here is my first observation. To my knowledge, none of these people have ever told us where we came from or where we are going at the end of this life. These major players always focus on the middle game, and they do that quite well. There is always something in the news to get these major personalities screaming from the roof tops, much like the old time carnival barker who is trying to get people to lay their money down to see the 3-headed monkey riding a unicycle while playing the trumpet and the harmonica and blowing bubbles all at the same time.

Why don't these major players tell us where we came from? Don't they know?

Why don't they tell us what awaits us at the end of this life? Don't they know?

From what I have seen and heard and read, these major players only focus on the "immediate" and the very short term. I liken it to a person sitting on a hill out in the middle of nowhere Arizona and watching traffic heading west on Interstate 40. If a person chooses to focus only on the immediate and the short term, they could easily conclude that every vehicle coming into sight from the east and going out of sight in the west has always been driving west and will always continue to drive west. Nevermind the Pacific Ocean, we are only thinking short term here.

Is this their strategy to educate us and prepare us for what lies ahead? When a person screams fire in a movie theater and the audience is showing signs that they understand, is it helpful to have all of the theater ushers rush into the theater and continue to scream fire while offering no directions on how to get out of harms way? While I can't speak for everyone else, I don't find it helpful to continually hear how bad things are without some guidance on how to seek safety.

If I was a window washer on the Sears Tower in Chicago and I lost my footing while washing windows on the 100th floor and started to fall toward the ground because my safety strap broke, I would not find it helpful for someone to elbow his way to the front of the crowd and then start to yell out the floor levels on a bullhorn as I continued my rapid descent. Furthermore, it would be no more comforting to me if everyone in the building heard the person with the bullhorn and then ran to the windows and started yelling out each floor level as I plunged past them. Having more people knowing the seriousness of the situation is neither comforting or helpful, at least for me as I whizz toward my doom. Is it too much to ask that at least one of these major players possess the skills of a MacGyver and that he actually shares some of that knowledge so that we can be prepared to "TAKE ACTION" that isn't all about yacking to everyone else about the state of the world? Exactly when did "taking action" become non-stop blabbing? Sounds a lot like chatting around the water cooler and "Monday morning quarterbacking" to me. Now don't get me wrong, talking about the problems is certainly important, but it only goes so far. MacGyver was a man with solutions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaQvBbzslJE

OK, perhaps asking for a MacGyver is too much, but can't we at least get some meaningful information on how to protect ourselves that does not require us to tell other people in the hopes that they will act on our behalf? Newspapers are filled with plenty of information everyday, much of it New World Order lies, but still...... how many people ACT based on that information? Information without meaningful action only leads to frustration and other negative emotions. Knowing about a serious problem is important, but after that, knowing how to effectively deal with that problem is equally as important, if not more so.

My second observation. While the many major personalities are busy plying their ample skills of non-stop verbiage as they inform us of the immediate dangers in this world, I find that they profess dramatically different views about God. Some profess to be religious in the traditional sense of the word. They claim to be a Christian. Others deny that God even exists and that Jesus is just a myth. Some claim that the Holy Bible was written by the Freemasons to control people. Even others claim that we are ALL "gods", but we just don't know it yet. And so it goes. Why are we listening to these people? Do they represent you?

If the major personalities are so scattered amongst themselves about the most fundamental aspects of this life like where we came from and where we are going after this life, how is it possible for them ALL to be singing in harmony about the New World Order? What is their common connection? It seems to be the "middle game". They don't know where we came from and they don't know where we are going, but they sure seem to think that they are able give us meaningful information about the here and now. Even if the entire world was completely aware of the dangers of the here and now, how does that translate into the reality for the future according to these major personalities if they don't even know the answers to those 2 basic questions about life? They are working very hard to gain our trust, but where are they taking us? This reminds me of the Bible verse

Luke 6:39  And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

So it appears that these people want us to have faith in their knowledge and wisdom, and yet they are either lost on the central issues of this life or they are unwilling to take the time to slowly and clearly show us how their knowledge and wisdom ties into those 2 fundamental questions. There is one particular major personality who, I believe, has the ability to do great service for God and all of the people who follow him now as he continually speaks of the worldly issues that are clearly manifesting all around us.

However, this major personality has failed to apply his considerable skills and talents to the task of teaching us rather than just informing us. His focus is on defeating the New World Order rather than helping to win souls for Jesus Christ while still doing pretty much what he is already doing. If or when he comes to realize that nothing that he does on this Earth will matter at all to God in the end except for what he does for Jesus Christ, then we shall see him make the meaningful connections between God and the current world events for his followers. He has that ability. He is very good at what he does, but his focus is not on God. God is a side issue for him. He makes the occasional comments about his Christian faith and the Holy Bible, but he does not make it the central issue. Because of that, he is doing God no service and he is failing his followers. He appears to be more concerned about being acceptable to a worldly audience.

Understand this. God The Father sent Jesus to save the world, but it is dependent on each person to make the choice to believe in Jesus.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his onlybegotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Now notice this later verse from the same book in the Bible.

John 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine

God The Father sent Jesus to save the world. Later, Jesus prays to His Father for His people, those who believe in Him. Jesus specifically states that he is not praying for the world at the end of His time on Earth.

For readers who do not believe in Jesus Christ and the King James Bible, allow me to be clear. There is not a single person on this planet who does not have faith. We all have it. The only question is where is our faith placed? Is it in God? Is it in science? Is it in education? Is it in self? Is it in other people? Make NO mistake about it, everyone has faith.

Since we all have faith, does it matter where it's placed? Clearly it does, even if a person is not able to articulate the reasons to other people or even themselves. If people don't KNOW where they came from and they don't KNOW where they are going at the end of this life, then they MUST have faith in whatever they choose to believe. If people want to believe in aliens from distant galaxies who came to Earth millions of years ago and began life here, that still requires faith. If a person thinks that this life is all there is and nothing comes after this life, that still requires faith. No matter how you slice it, we can not get away from faith.

Choose wisely ladies and gentlemen. This life is very short. Eternity is a very long time. We have posted many good videos on this site. Kent Hovind and Walter Veith do a wonderful job presenting information that everyone should consider, but check everything that they say with a King James Bible.

As always, trust God and trust the King James Bible.
