God, Guts. Guns, Groceries, And Gold: Christians SHOULD bear arms!
The 5 G's... in order of priority:
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?
Salvation is NOT found in a religion, but in The Person — The Lord Jesus Christ.
People are often confused about the "way to heaven".
Many have heard that attending church, being baptized, and other good works are ways to eternal life. But "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Jesus clearly explains that He is the only way to the Father (God's presence and heaven).
If you were to die today, are you 100 percent sure that you would go to heaven?
We Have All Sinned - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23.
The word sin means we miss the mark or come short of perfection, by disobeying God. We have all chosen to disobey God at some time in our lives.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
The payment for sin is death and separation from God in hell. This is the fate of every person who has not believed on Jesus Christ as Saviour.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God proved His love for you by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sin. Jesus died in your place and paid the penalty for your sin.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
You must be born again:
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3: 1-7
In Revelation 3:20, Jesus says: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Jesus wants to sup with us. Jesus wants a personal relationship with us.

In Mark 6:50: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
Jesus gave the command to the disciples who saw Him walking on the water of the Sea of Galilee and coming toward them. The Greek word translated “courage” and “good cheer” means literally “boldness and confidence.” In the Bible, courage is the opposite of fear. God commands us to fear not, to be of good cheer, and to have courage.
God doesn’t simply command courage with no reason behind it. In nearly every incident where God says “fear not,” there follows a reason to have courage, and that reason is God Himself, His nature and His perfect plans. When God calms Abram’s fears after his battle with the kings of Sodom, the captivity of Lot and his rescue, God says, (Genesis 15:1)
"After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."
When Hagar was despairing for her life and that of her child in the wilderness, the angel of the Lord tells her, “And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is." (Genesis 21:17).
God’s promise to the Israelites in Isaiah 41:14 is similar: "Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel."
In each incident, we see God commanding courage, not because it is natural for man to be brave and courageous, but because, when God is protecting and guiding us, we can have courage because: we trust Him.
If you do not own a firearm, buy one and buy a supply of ammo.
Jesus says in Luke 22:36: Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Luke 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
Luke 22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
Jesus tells the apostles to buy swords.
Luke 22:47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
Luke 22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
Luke 22:49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
Luke 22:50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
The apostles ASKED Jesus if they should smite the evil men who came to arrest Jesus BEFORE Peter struck the servant.
John 18:10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
John 18:11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
Jesus APPROVES of Peter using his sword against the evil GOVT leaders who came to arrest Him. Jesus ONLY told Peter to put his sword away because it was time for Jesus to give Himself up to die on the cross for us.
Matthew 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Notice that Jesus does not say "why do you have a sword?" or "get rid of that sword". NO....... Jesus is saying there is a time to use the sword and there is a time not to use the sword.
Jesus tells the apostles to buy a sword. Then He allowed the apostles to use those swords against the evil GOVT leaders. Then He tells Peter to put the sword away while warning that people who take up the sword will die by the sword.
Jesus clearly knows that there is a time to use a sword, but it's not to be used if it can be avoided.
The Old Testament says the same.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecclesiastes 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
Ecclesiastes 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ecclesiastes 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
Ecclesiastes 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
Ecclesiastes 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Violence is not something to be entered into lightly. Jesus tells us and shows us that very thing.
If you do not own a firearm, buy one. If you own a gun, NEVER give up your guns!

Imagine that you are now approaching a season like the 1930's depression. If this is true, and we believe that it is, the convenience of a trip to the local grocery store to purchase food for your family may not be an option. Are you prepared to feed your family for an extended period of time? What do you need to do to prepare?
For practical tips on how to prepare to store food read this article: http://www.christfirstministries.com/articles-31/The-Approaching-1930s-Style-Depression-4228
Gold Is The Money Of Kings
The dollar system is a system of debt at interest, or usury. Scripture condemns usury.
Deuteronomy 23:19: Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
Luke 6:35: But love ye your enemies, and do good and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest; for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
God created gold, it belongs to Him.
Genesis 2:12: And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
Haggai 2:8: The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
God created gold and silver for a purpose.
Rev 3:18: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Jesus counsels us to buy gold, the gold he created, His gold, and the reason is given - so that we may be rich.
Many people try to "spiritualize" Rev 3:18, so that it has no literal meaning. But the topic of money covers many spiritual principles; and gold and silver fulfill God's principles, and paper money is a rejection of all of God's spiritual principles!
How can one spiritually obey Rev 3:18 "to buy of me gold tried in the fire," without first obeying the literal command?
Christians are called to be able to relieve the poverty of others, and that takes wealth.
How can you have extra to give to others, unless you have more than enough for yourself? (2 Corinthians 8 speaks on this, the giving of one's abundance, or surplus.)
